pagination with sh404sef not work

Hello,
I noticed that pagination does not work: I open the category w/o some problems. I can open the next page too (e.g. 2), but after that if I try to open e.g. Page 4, I will see again 2. If I deactivate the sh404sef (component), its works. In support of sh404 said you to ask as developer of plugin for FlexiContent.
What could be the problem?
I check it with default template of Joomla too

The problem could be because some 3rd party code is clearing 'limitstart' or 'start' variables, we have a workaround in v3 but it is not FLEXIcontent code that is causing this, but again i cannot be sure

FLEXIContent does override the pagination class of Joomla
-- but it does not the page-links generation, we only override the results counter

so pagination links are handled/generated by Joomla and SH404SEF

you may ask SH404SEF for a guide / FAQ article (a link to it please) on how to handle this, and i will try to update the plugin

I have the same problem with Joomla 3.4.1 Last SH404 and FC v2.2.1 RC.

I'm also having a similar problem with Joomla 3.4.1, latest SH404 and FC v3 BETA5a, but in the search results page.

Pagination says "1 to TOTAL of TOTAL results" when it should say "1 to PAGE_LIMIT of TOTAL results" and the page links (number 2, 3 and so on) don't work (they point to the homepage only).

Oddly enough, If I disable SH404, then the links are working okay again, but the pagination text remains wrong.

a new parameter "limit" (default items per page) is added in search view

but i don't think that this will make change for the issue that you report:
"1 to TOTAL of TOTAL results"

will have to test search view with latest SH404SEF

about links did you clear SH404SEF URL cache once ?

Yes, I did.

But I think there is/was a bug in sh404.
After further investigation I saw that they acknowledged this kind of pagination error in March.
However I could not test the last sh404 version because their previous reseller no longer supplies it.
I already asked them yesterday to migrate my account to their new website, but I guess I'll have to wait until this Monday to test it.
I'm hopeful that they already have found a solution because of what they reported on their last week Version 4.4.7.2404:

Well, the last version of sh404 did correct the problem with the pagination links, such as I suspected.

Still, the smaller problem of the display of "1 to TOTAL of TOTAL results" instead of "1 to PAGE_LIMIT of TOTAL results" remains.

I also suspect the "limit" parameter won't have any effect, but did you already test it?
