RSS Feed not working if Joomla "add as suffix" is used

i created a Joomla category view menu item, it does not work with it either
but the good is that i know why this is happening, please read below:


there is a Joomla SEO setting "add suffix to URL" that converts:

http://mysite/someview?format=TTT
to
http://mysite/someview.TTT

e.g. TTT is html , feed, xml, etc


- for some reason this is not converted back to a variable (this is normally done via apache URL rewrite rule in .htaccess)
i tried the default Joomla htaccess but still the variable is not set,

by manually adding: &format=feed to your URL it works
- i suggest you disable this setting "add Suffix to URL" in Joomla SEO settings, until you find why this is happening, and this should not be a problem as the format=feed will only appear in feed URLs and the "html" views do no set this variable (they leave it to be blank)


we can do anything else, since this variable is set before any FLEXIcontent code executes

You are right off Adds Suffix to URL solved the problem with the RSS.


How to find the cause because of what is going on? before on the same site was version 2.2 and everything worked

I'm find problem plugin: System - eorisis: jQuery Version:1.3.7 :silly:

tried plg_system_jqueryeasy. the same result. RSS does not work
