Hi,
I have made some modifications to the old flexicontent module a couple of years ago for the FlexiContent
Please find the flexicontent old module version below.
I have also attached the old module with the modifications.

?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<extension type="module" version="1.6" client="site" method="upgrade">

<description>Universal Content Module for FLEXIcontent</description>

Could you please let me know what would be the best way to move the modifications to the new slider?
I want to keep my modifications as well as use the new version.

I have upgraded to Flexicontent latest version and kept the old FlexiuniversalContent.
The module admin area of the flexicontent slider did not have the menu items(looks like language file was missing) - you can test it by instaling the attached mod_flexicontent.zip.

Thank you

you can propose a pr on github project
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

hhmm,

I am not too worried about the actual configurations under module admin.

I can replicate them without any issue.

I am worried the css, js and php file modifications I made will cause issues with the new version.

Hello

indeed they will not work

the new slider, is a slider based on Query,
the old one slider, was based on mootools

Hello

but note that we have not removed the old JS files from the '/libraries/' folder
- so that old template overrides will continue to work

- it will probably load , test it ...

although i am not sure how it will behave compared to parameter
