I updated to joomla 3.9.20 and flexicontent 3.3.6 and it generates this error: Failed to add tag, but it allows me to add tags that are already used

Hello

thanks for the report

This is a new bug of v3.3.6
Since it is rather important and common

I have release v3.3.7 that includes the fix for this
(only difference to v3.3.6 is this bug-fix)

You can install new version via Joomla Extensions/Manage/Updates
(If it does not appear in list then clear cache and then click "Find updates" button)

Hi !
J! 3.9.20 and FC 3.3.7, tags are created but Joomla! tags :
  • are duplicated when they are renamed in FLEXIContent
  • have no access rights
  • and they cannot be edited under Joomla!

On the other hand, everything is correct on the side of FLEXIContent:

I set up a Joomla! virgin with FLEXIContent and I arrived at this same result which is problematic, because I have a module not compatible with FLEXIContent for which I need Joomla tags! but they don’t appear.
When I disable FLEXIContent, I can create Joomla tags again! but tags created by FLEXIContent are not available. Moreover, they can no longer be modified (same error : "TagsTableTag::moveByReference() is trying to make record ID 5 a child of itself.").

Many thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards.

Hello

hhmm if renaming and the mapping already exists, then it makes sense not to try to create a new tag

is it common case to need to rename a tag for you ?

No, you're right. I did that only for another test.

The real problem is that I cannot access Joomla! tags...
