Prevent category id from being pulled from url which starts with a number

Hi there,

We've noticed some odd results returning from our search crawler with regards to the pages on our site.

We've narrowed it down to FlexiContent attempting to display a category page whenever a number is placed after the trailing slash in the url.

For example, our site url here:

www.rgu.ac.uk/9 returns a strange view of the homepage, but the page title is Courses | RGU.

Similary running:

www.rgu.ac.uk/9something returns the same page, this is where the problem lies - we wouldn't expect the '9' in this case to be used to look up a category, instead we would want it to load the relevant page.

Is there any way to prevent FlexiContent from taking the first number in a URL and trying to call a category? We have some legacy pages on a different system which use numbers in the URL and when they are entered into the url bar FlexiContent is taking priority with the category lookup rather than allowing the url to be passed off to our legacy system.

Kind regards,

Stephanie

Hello

already made work on it in 3.3.0-dev

i mean to allow aliases that start with numbers

the work also includes this and also option to remove IDs from URLs

but needs to be tested more before it goes to the 3.3.0-dev branch
