How do I remove flexicontent - and keep articles

How do I remove flexicontent - and keep articles was created by flasp

Flexicontent does not show number of views so I want to remove it and return to joomlas own article-system.

But after deactivating flexicontent I get an 404-error saying Component not found.

Does that mean flexicontent deletes the original joomla article component.

How do I keep articles after removing flexicontent.

Hello

To use Joomla articles you can you can simply uninstall flexicontent (do not disable flexicontent)

The articles (=items) will be maintained also if you had Joomla fields these will be maintained too
- please note that the flexicontent fields and field data will be deleted

Hello

Also please note that after uninstalling you will have to make your home page being a Joomla menu item
the above is needed if you had home page being a flexicontent menu item

Also (in case you have many of these) please note that flexicontent menu items are not auto converted to Joomla menu items or anything like that
