dear flexicontent-team,

i have a problem with phpthumb. it doesn't show any image which is generated by "phpThumb.php?src=/images/stories ..."
i first noticed it in the backend, when i enable the "resize"-funktion in the flexicontent-module, i also noticed the broken images.

i have php 7.4 and gd installed (also tried php7.3).
joomla 3.9.20 and flexicontent 3.3.7
on my server i have about 5 other flexicontent, and everything is working fine.

any ideas?
thanks,
bart

Hello

edit the broken image URL and try to view the image directly

server_url/subfolder_path_to_image
e.g.
https: // some_folder/some_image.png

is the image viewable ?

many thanks for your time and feedback.

in the frontend, when i try to see the image directly, it will be shown.
in the backend not, at least till i changed following:
- the htacces from "/uploads"-directory
- the change %2F into / for ex %2F%2Fcomponents%2Fcom_flexicontent%2Fuploads%2xxxxx.jpg

best,
bart

Hello

you may send me access to the website and mention a module (its ID and title) that has custom resized images not working

Hello

i have been on vacations

i have looked at it, and is see an PHP error that seems to be related to PHP 7.4+

about trying PHP 7.3
if you switch to PHP 7.3 temporarily to test,
still the same broken cached image will be returned phpThumb cache would need to be cleared when doing such a test

i will try to reproduce this locally
