Compatibility with salesforce's live chat

Hello,

I have added the livechat (from salesforce) feature on my joomla website. This is a module with a javascript code.

The chat pop-up works on all webpage of my site, except on the two webpages where flexicontent module exist.
I have two Knowledge Base, when I try to open the chat, it is blocked.

Could you please help me to understand what happens ? Is the flexicontent module blocking the javascript ?

Hello

the chat module may be double loading a jquery extension or or other error
do these

press f12 to open browser tools
then go to "console tab"
then reload the page and wait for it to load

then look inside the console TAB, and check for javascript errors

if website is public you can post a link to the specific page

i have looked at it , i cannot be sure why this is happening
but i see that mootools is being loaded, in the page, which is not needed. We may only have 1 case in item form that this is still needed

During weekend will test and remove mootools loading, as it is no longer needed

then we can see if the error in the page will be fixed

in the mean time you can test with jQuery easy to see if it can help

After disabling mootools with jQuery easy, the problem disappears ! I can start the chat
