Unable to empty a date field was created by grabit

After having entered a date in a field, even if I delete it and save the item, a date appears in the field. How can I remove the date once saved?

hello what is your flexicontent version ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

i tested yes if date is empty that display a 000000 date et not nothing

M’y problem is first I enter a date then I save the item. Later I need to delete the date. I edit the item delete the content of the field and save the item. When I look at the item a date is displayed. If I re-edit the item the date field is not empty.

I hope this explanation of my problem is more clear.

i have made a fix
if you want to apply it now to your website
it is easy (since it is 1 line change to date.php file)

Still not working.

As soon a date has been entered it is not possible to clear it.

If you try to clear the date, save the item and reopen it the date is set to 2021-01-11

Hello

which button did you try ?

did click the select date button
and then inside the pop you clicked "Clear" button

or did you tested with the delete button next to the move button ?
