How to add images to sub-categories in list? was created by jensende

Hi.

I am new to this but could someone please help me with the following:

I have a main category called Activities and a subcategory under that called Luxury but it is only displayed as a text link, I want a picture similar to the main category to be shown instead ( I have attached a picture to the subcategory but doesn't display )

Hi,

In your template (com_flexicontent/templates/your_template), you have a file named category_subcategories.php

Here you can customize the way to display subcategories.

To get the image of each subcategories you can use :

Code:

<?php echo JHTML::_('image.site', $sub->image, 'images/stories/', NULL, NULL, $sub->title); ?>

in the boucle :

foreach ($this->categories as $sub) :
...
endforeach;
