Fresh install problem with com_flexicontent_v2.0_RC8_r1496

Please read this in Joomla Code

The "problem" is that the PHP script that is responsible for uploading the file from your local computer to the sites directory structure fails to upload the file and the installer does not know this until it looks into the site directory where the file is supposed to be. hence the error "Installation problem: Unable to find install package"

Known causes:

1. File size limit in PHP.ini is less than the file size of the package

2. The Joomla installation does not have write permissions to the specified "temp" directory.


The solution:

Bypass the Joomla PHP upload script and install the package from the sites /tmp/ directory:

1. Unzip the package into a temp folder on your local desktop

2. Upload the contents of the temp folder to your sites /tmp/ folder using FTP (for localhost, see below)

3. Use the "Install from Directory" option in the Joomla installer. Just specify the path to the folder where the component files are located (for localhost, just point the installer to the directory you created on the desktop)

4. After installation, remove the package from the /tmp/ directory or desktop.

I have installed it via upload folders to tmp.
But I am getting another error.

Default menu item was not found or was unpublished.
The alias of this menu item is used in URLs when a more appropriate menu item cannot be found, thus you avoid having /component/com_flexicontent/ in your FLEXIcontent URLs

Fc hidden menu exists on menu.

It was a problem with the server, the php version was too old.

the new com_flexicontent_v2.0_ only work in php 5.3?

No it work with 5.4.x ,

just need to test with 5.4.4+ too, i will install latest locally today to test
