[non-FC issue: mootools broken] Update button does not work

I've just installed flexicontent and update button dont work, i tried all advices and tuto i've find in the web to fix the problem but still in trouble. Can you please help me? i can give my administration login for more investigation . Pleaase hel me.

do you mean one of the -multiple- update buttons that appear in FLEXIcontent post installation screen ?"

(several "update" buttons appear in FLEXIcontent dashboard after installing FLEXIcontent, these initialize the FLEXIcontent component)

yes this is what i'm talking about. those button to update flexicontent after installation. I'll join a capture here

(this rare in backend !)

all these buttons depend on Javascript to submit their tasks

probably jQuery is not loaded properly, and since you don't mention the Javascript error, you don't know how to see the text of the Javascript error ?

since this is an issue in backend, i would like to see it, (it is rare)

they start spinning but do not stop ?

if you visit the joomla's CONTROL PANEL screen you will see that the panels there are all open (this broken behavior) this due to same JS error as in flexicontent screen

This file is not loaded by your system

YOUSITEURL/media/system/js/mootools-more.js

i tried accessing it directly and it always redirects to:
YOUSITEURL/media/system/js/mootools-core.js

aka "more" becomes "core"

this is probably due to a rule in you .htaccess file

try this: download latest zip of Joomla 2.5.x and replace your .htaccess file with the htaccess.txt found in the zip file

just note this is not a FLEXIcontent issue, after you resolve the above issue then FLEXIcontent post-installation screen will work properly

I do what you asked me to do but nothing change. before talking about the trouble here i've renamed mootol more .js, now I replace it. Can you check again? please help me fix it

1. mootools-more.js
is core file loaded by joomla
FLEXIcontent (and various other component that need JS) will not work properly if this broken

2. Currently we don't have sell support plans (yet), so we are interested only in FLEXIcontent bugs, in fact we give away more free support than most other components, imagine doing this for free for non-FC issues, we not have time to do anything else

-- about replacing .htaccess, please note that
ALL parent folder .htaccess files are also applied, so you may be effected by the .htaccess of a parent folder,
or it may not be .htaccess issue, i cannot say without spending time in it

Try posting in Joomla forums about this , mentioning that
mootools-more.js
does not get loaded
