Latest version - 2.1.2 beta or RC? was created by koraldon

Just installed from latest version page, which downloaded 2.1.2 beta, however it reports that there exists a newer version - 2.1.2. RC in the FLEXIcontent admin section.

Also, does FLEXIcontent support Joomla update?

Hello

latest official is (see our downloads section and the version info at FLEXIcontent Dashboard):
- v2.1.2 r1806

latest beta is:
- v2.1.3 r1841
this may become official release

Also, does FLEXIcontent support Joomla update?

No it does not,
this was done deliberately but we may support it in near future
