Hi,
I recently upgraded a site with FlexiContent form Joomla 2.5 to 3.3.6. Of course, I also updated FlexiContent to last version (actually, 2.2.1 rc). On localhost, everything is fine, but on production site, I can't access anymore to items (I can access to categories, types, fields, etc.) There is 3 differences between localhost and server :
  • php version is 5.3.22 (on localhost, it's 5.6.2)
  • access to administrator uses ssl
  • server is IIS (Apache on localhost)
Error code is ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. Do you think that one of these could be a problem ?

Hi,
Unfortunately, php had been upgraded to 5.5.21 but it doesn't changed anything. Have you even heard about something like this ? Any idea would be welcome.

Hi guys. Thanks a lot for your help. Actually, it was a problem of MySQL version. Sorry for the inconvenience. And thanks again for this great extension and for your commitment in it.

Hi guys,

I am having the same problem. No access to Flexicontent through the admin side and getting a Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

Flexicontent 2.2.1
PHP 5.4.14
MySQL 5.6.21-log
Microsoft IIS/8.5

Tomoe, what was the MySQL issue you had?

Do you have any other suggestions.

Thanks for any help you can give

Hello

this message means that the
- WEB server thread (or the WEB server process)
executing the current PHP script has crashed

that is the operating system thread that executes PHP code that has crashed,
-- and not the PHP script itself making a fatal error, e.g. it is not a PHP syntax error or other error PHP error

in rare cases it can happen only in some browsers , e.g. some browser may send 1 more cookie to the server to trigger a bug in server software
e.g. our code calls a PHP function that is bogus in your PHP version, or for any other reason the thread is crashing

changing PHP version or changing webserver or changing MySQL version or repair MySQL DB may help

and if this is a new website , please use v3 BETA 6b !
