Error when installing on Joomla 1.6

Error when installing on Joomla 1.6 was created by RCheesley

Hi guys,

Tried to install on the latest beta 1.6 but got an error (fatal call to undefined function as documented here www.flexicontent.org/downloads/a ... la-16.html )

Second time I tried to install it I got

* JInstaller::Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file
* JInstaller::Install: Cannot find XML setup file

Message

* component successfully installed

A flexible content management system for Joomla! 1.5

I see it in Components under extension manager, and the tables are present in the database, if I go to www.mysite.co.uk/administrator/i ... exicontent I get to the dashboard but the language files aren't picked up and there's a few red icons on the right hand side.

Looking forward to getting it up and running in 1.6 as I have a site ready to use it! Any plans to release an update at all?

Oh and uninstallation also fails *manually deletes*

Hi the 1.6 version was only compatible with Joomla 1.6 ALPHA2.
As there were many changes in the beta (and it will still change a lot) we will build the 1.6 release of FLEXIcontent during the summer.
