Dynamic selectlist for filtering

Hi Sgagner,
I'm working on the same problem. So far I've managed to restrict filters using MySql query, then I've played with $items collection (both in the category template) but I'm still not satisfied with the resulting code.
However I'll finish dynamic filtering within this week as it's required for the project I'm working on at the moment.

I'll let you know, however the outcome is.
