modifying tooltip CSS on images in category

How can I customize the CSS used in the tooltip for the image displayed in each article in the category page ?

I have tried to modify my category template C>SS unsuccessfully.

In the category page the image is hyperlinked. I get this message : Lire la suite::article title with the class 'hasTip'

I didn't found the 'hasTip' class in the css file. I tried to create it but it was also unsuccessfully.

the tooltip text is black color. On dark images it's unreadable.

How can I change the tooltip CSS.

the page is composed with :

- universal module
- a module with distinct hyperlinks*
- the maincontent (the list of articles)

The problem is inside the maincontent when putting the mouse on an image.

Try to create your own tooltip, it's very simple: how to create a simple tooltip using only CSS3 . It uses only CSS, and you don't to add additional HTML elements, only one simple attribute to set the value of that tooltip.

in v2.2.1 rc2+ we replaced ALL frontend tooltips with J3 bootstap tooltips, that utilize the CSS class: 'haToolTip',
- that is in templates, frontend buttons, modules, plugins


So
- the new tooltips MAY be styled by your Joomla template
- they offer more usability,
e.g. they do not move as you move the mouse
- you used read about styling bootstrap tooltips



that is if you are using Joomla 3
