The 1.5.6 version is for J1.5 and is a lot stable, except maybe a couple of bugs in the new features.

For 1.5.6 beta use build.xml to build an installable zip

I did it with FC 1.5.6 (r842)
and installed
so far so good
now when I want to use FlexiContent
I get the following error

Parse error: parse error in C:\xampp\htdocs\...\components\com_flexicontent\classes\flexicontent.helper.php on line 1602

line 1602
Code:
if(class_exists($class) && in_array($act, get_class_methods($class))) { $class::$act(); }

if I comment it out ... it seems to be working

sorry how to use build.xml to do a package ?
thanks

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Enjoyman added ability to call Flexicontent Fields by AJAX !!!!

TThis is what this code does, you don't need yet. But it will be very useful for Flexicontent usability in the future.

The error is probably related to PHP version and configuration !!!, enjoyman is looking at it ...

Regards

The version from SVN has enabled this:

error_reporting(E_ALL);

in the start of components/com_flexicontent/flexicontent.php
and in
administrator/components/com_flexicontent/admin.flexicontent.php

to track down bugs.

Please comment out for now, i will check this 'notice'
