FC 2 r1341 - image field - auto upload does not work

in FC 2.0 r1341 ... it does not work

Yes problem was in FC v2.0 because of wrong form field name. Reason for not working in your case must be different.

I'm testing FC 1.5.6 r1338. I have a different issue, but may be server related, I can't tell.

I disabled the auto upload to prevent the error, but now I get the following error when I try to upload. The image is uploaded, but the thumbs are not created. Not sure what's going on.

Server: PHP 5.3.10
GD support = enabled
