The template preview images seem to be quite large.
These are the category.png and item.png files included in the core templates.

While saving the images for documentation I noticed the file sizes seemed quite large for such small images.

So I simply opened the images for editing and re-saved them as PNGs again.
This is a lossless operation.

This reduced the combined file sizes over 200KB.
By optimizing these images the entire FLEXIcontent package size would be reduced by this amount.
