bug in 1416: front end not displaying text fields

On the front end my templates do not display "- Text -" fields. Had to go back to 1410.

Also: when leaving some items via "cancel" the item is marked as "locked". It does happen only to some items, I cant see any pattern.

Yes, i just committed, the cleanup fields text, email, weblink, extweblink, and autoselecting for file and minigallery fields, also started fixing/improving advanced search ...

Will check fix this before making the public build.

Latest build contain important fixes ... e.g. using untranslatable fields will cause field values not be saved.

Will FC work with the native "Smart Search" plugin after the work on Advanced Search is done? Otherwise I am afraid one needs two different serch fields on the site: one for FC content and a second one for other third party modules and components.

Maybe user session is no longer valid (e.g. because user has logged out in another window) and cancel could not check-in the item?

If the user that locked it , re-edits the field and clicks cancel? does it work?

Also the new version has ability for auto-checking after e.g. one day, (goto FLEXIcontent system plugin)
