i use the date field in a FC event template for each event as the start- and the end-date
the field for the start date is a required field
so it must always have a value
but not the field for end date (e.g. for one day events)
previously there was no problem, to leave the end_date_field just blank (without value)
after update to FC r1462 it automatically entered a value in the field (today's date) when I save the item...
no value is saved, instead the no-value is displayed as current date when item form is loaded.
Fixed in r1463

i do not know if it's a bug
but I still do not understand all the new settings
or the functional way
