Hi

I found a bug in related, i choose include option and 1 category, but in insert view(form) the field show all of categories?

Another thing, its possible use that like filter?

all? maybe you have enable inclusion of subcategories?

mmm, i ll verify, about filter, you want a category title filter like we have an item title filter , right?

for that bug i have the same:

content scope filter by type works as expected,
but by category seems to have no effect

to my own surpise i may have solved this bug by adding:

$catids = $field->parameters->get('catids'); on line 52

seemed like de catids where not picked up

I remembered to check this,

but i had not created a bug tracker issue and i missed it

checking it ... thanks for bringing it up

the related items field will be really useful now since i am committing ability to show any core/custom field , and not just the title !!

As i said, I forgot to check this

and ... you are right the $catids variable is never set !

it needs:

$catids = $field->parameters->get('catids');
