Authors / Users deleted bug

The is a bug in J2.5 that is when you delete and user the items that, that user created keeps the CREATED_BY ID of that user.

In FC the VERSIONS and the ITEM because they are core also keep the user id in that DB but the user does not exist anymore.

I am thinking on a feature that would correct this. For example a icon in the item saying CORRECTIONS or in the MOVE/COPY we could change the user that created this items.

The problem is that in version of the ITEMS and in versions of the FIELDS also the user id exist. :/

Usually we create a DEMO user to test the site before it goes live. I always delete this user.

I test with joomla User manager , it also deletes the user and leaves the article assigned to the delete user id,

-- updating the user id in _content DB table and in _flexicontent_files DB table is only 2 UPDATE queries, but update it to what user id?

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.

To correct this, I had to go trough this steps:

1 - com_content, update createad_by and modified_by
2 - com_fc_items_versions, update the same
3 - com_fc_fields_versions, update the same

It took me a while...

ps: from now on I will never delete an user again, the pain is not worth it.

Adding 3 small queries when user is deleted, is minimal work, but to what user to update to ?
