Hello,

-- Joomla is responsible for saving the parameter, (there some character that may have trouble being saved these are the slashes)

I tested with your text in both J1.5 and J2.5 and it is being saved

-- What you described, must be related to some System plugin.

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
-- Add your voice to the FLEXIcontent JED listing with a 5-star...

for me it's not a hard problem. As ling as I can use '[]' in the opening/closing text field...

Just strange I can use in 'prefix/suffix text field' and not in opening/closing text field.

I have tested it by disabling all of nonumbers plugins but still can't use braces.

I could use braces in textarea field without any problem. :(

If you test on a fresh Joomla installation (without any plugins installed) does it work?
