Hi..

I found a bug in flexicontent module, but the bug give a idea.

Bug: When i add a textarea in Fields parameters on module, the $field->display are clean.

Why i do that? I have a slideshow, and every slide has a diferent description, diferent between field description and field Slide description.
The idea is, like a image select, have a select for description field chosen by user (field textarea).

i move this in good forum part

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

To test a fix (effects both description field and textarea field):

in
plugins/flexicontent_fields/textarea/textarea.php

find
function onDisplayFieldValue(...) some lines after 270

and move line:

$values = $values ? $values : $field->value;

before:

Code:

$default_value_use= $field->parameters->get( 'default_value_use', 0 ) ;

Hello,
if i remember i replicated the bug, and i tested fix locally , but i am not sure if it included more changes, anyway i have managed to resolve some issues with new filter stuff and new public package is very close you can try that one
