[configure inside FC] Jcomments Issue was created by arche

Joomla 2.5.11
Flexicontent 2.0.2 r1680

When enabling jcomments in flexicontent it will show everywhere without me selecting any categories in jcomments. I cannot seem to disable comments on categories or certain items anymore. I had to disable comments in flexicontent for the moment so that it will not show everywhere.

Hello,
this is normal:
usage of jcomments is configured inside FLEXIcontent parameters and not inside Jcomments settings!

You can configure this
1. globally (FC component parameters (tab: Content Display) )
2. override per category
3. override per item

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Got it, sorry about this. Was different in Joomla 1.5, I was able to control it through jcomments.

Hello,
behavior changed for v2.0.x j1.5 version too,
reason is that FLEXIcontent has multiple categories per item and we wanted to inherit current category setting to the item view
