Wrong subcategory image in category-view

I can't display sub-category's image.
I have created Category menu item and selected one parent category.
Override Configuration : No, use defaults

I only want to display sub-categories with its image saved in param.

There are all sub-category's names but without their images.

In category_subcategories.php, $sub->image is empty.
How can I check whether each variable has value in view.html.php?
Like, print or echo are not working...

you speak of file:
.../tmpl_common/category_subcategories.php
right ?

I think category_subcategories.php has no problem.

Yes, I know and I have tried so many times by giving different value. but I've never got Images displayed.

Image folder permission set to 755.
Tested with Categories menu item, no images displayed either.

There is a problem in views/category/view.html.php.
Coz $sub->image is always empty.

tested with both subcategory image in parameter and with subcategory image in image description

maybe you have set the "image source parameter" wrongly

e.g. publish the category "Test CAT A" in "About" category to see that it is working

Yes, it is working..About category is set Blog template.
I am trying on custom template..so I guess there was some update.
Which revision should I look in SVN?
