Universal Module Empty Categories was created by horsey

Hi, I found some:

The setting to skip empty categories in "Apply configuration per category" doesn't work.
Empty categories are still displayed and all items below the empty category jump up above their actual category.

AND

If I change the category order, items in the module are still displayed in the former order afterwards. Only the position of the title changes. Re-saving the module doesn't help, sticks to the wrong order.

Saving categories takes very long also.

The timing issue was due to Kazaam auto menu creator.
It produces around 10 queries per category, switched it off and it saves fast now.

About ordering i am not sure what you are asking:
-- category ordering parameter orders categories not items
