Thanks for your great effort.

It seems the text search result of "searching by part of words" still only work with the "Word Combination" is "Show".

When I choose the "Word Combination" "Hide" and "Default Combination" "All Word" or "Any Word", the result will show :
Words ignored (too short, minimum length: 3 )

I don't know if it's the problem of Chinese words, but the charset is UTF-8, so I think it should be OK. And it really works when the Word Combination is Show, and choose "All Word" or "Any Word".

Hello

text search and ALPHA index are effected by the character collation

maybe character COLLATION:
utf8-general-ci
is not appropriate for chinese,

please ask / check, then use Admin tools to change all DB tables to appropriate collation
