Broken language file for relation field

I have no luck to use the es-ES.plg_flexicontent_fields_relation.ini, any change done don´t seem to make a difference

It seems its not loading anything from it

the code of loading language in this field (which is a Joomla plugin) is same as in our other fields


probably your language files has broken syntax,


at the point forward of the syntax error, the language strings will not be load



do this test:
empty the language file and add only 1 string which you make sure it has not broken syntax and see if it appears,

if the above works
then start adding remaining strings until you find the place the syntax error is occuring


and of course make sure that the language file is at a path of:

administrator/language/es-ES/es-ES.plg_flexicontent_fields_relation.ini

It´s an error on both files (english and spanish), on line 87. See the end of the line, is missconstructed.

what is the line 87 of the language file that you have ?

FLEXI_RIFLD_AUTORELATE_SHOW_SUBMIT_BUTTON_DESC="This will show a submit link (new item form) that will create an item that is related to current item"


Edit: Thats the fixed line. Before, it ended on something like ">" or something
