FLEXIcontent v3 BETA7d - Image or Gallery - multi-upload fails

Hi,
It seems that the function multiple upload failed with the field FLEXIcontent - Image or Gallery
That happend since FLEXIcontent v3.0 Beta7d
When you try to upload multiple image :
Add files : ok (multiples files)
Start upload : no error message
and then : you have no file to choose - windows is blank as you have not uploaded files

please go to Joomla Global configuration and under TAB "server"
set "error reporting" to "maximum"

and retry, do you get an error message ?

i set "error reporting" to "maximum"
But i have no error message
If you upload one image by one image, there is no problem.
If you can't reproduce that on your test site, i certainly make a mistake with my setting.
If that can help you, i will sent you the url of my test site, i created you a super admin account.

the blank page means a bug in FLEXIcontent, or an FLEXIcontent issue related to server configuration,
since we cannot replicate locally it is possible a FLEXIcontent issue related to server configuration related to server configuration

- you may send a PM with
site URL
super admin access
the FLEXIcontent item ID of the item that you use item that you used for testing multi-image upload

I don't think it is an FLEXIcontent issue related to server configuration. Because all is ok with beta 7C same site on the same server.
Certainly something change between beta 7C and beta 7d concerning Galery field.
You can see this with all the item : it's happend with all the items.

-- with "blank" did you "blank"/empty file list ? !
if so, your description was a little misleading


In your server this is empty
In general this is safer choice (PHP 5.2.1 or later which we have anyway since we need PHP >=5.3 ):
it is working now, and the fix will be included in v3.0.0 RC

Thank you for your investigation and for your advice about the setting of the server (i was thinking that the tmp_dir_setting in Joomla config was enough secure :blush: )
Sorry for my bad explanations, i will now inserting images to better explain .
However, I find strange that this is not happened with beta c

the BETA7d has enabled/fixed chunking (a feature of PLUPLOAD js Library), (spliting large files into pieces) and needs a temporary directory
e.g.
you have upload SERVER limit 2 MBs
but you want to allow 5Ms images

so the code is new
-- the bug was a real issue, and we have now fixed
