Back-end ordering glitchy

Hello,
I'm having problems with re-ordering items in the back-end. After I save, not all the items retain the position I assigned them to (regardless of using the numbers or arrows) and the more I work on ordering the items, the more of them get the same position (in my case the items get stuck on 21). I wanted to see whether disabling drag and drop ordering would help but I wasn't able to find that option in the configuration. I'm using the latest Flexicontent version 3.0.7.
Thanks,
Agata

Hello

please enable the category filter
- the order is saved per category

Hello,
I know that, I filtered by category and excluded subcategories.

There's only one language and yes, I was using the save button. It seems to work better if I display all items on one page but if I have say 20 items on each page and then order within a page, sometimes the wrong order gets stuck when I save and each time one more item gets the position 21, leading to even more problems with ordering.

Hello

so the issue sounds like this:

if ALL items category items are not displayed in the same page,
then 2 items can get the same order number ?

Yes, it starts with 2 and then I save and 3 items get the same position and if I save again it's 4 and so on. And apart from that some items that I'm trying to reorder get stuck and don't reorder despite saving. So every time I try to correct the order, the order is still incorrect and additionally more and more items get the position 21.

When

if you have never saved the order of a category view
then all items will have order 0

- i did save the above case, with multiple pages and it worked correctly!

i think the problem, is that items in subquent pages you had many items with non-zero order, which will not be reorder, and instead they are added to the first page

e.g. you had/have many items with order 2, that continued to subquent page

do the items have the same language and are all of these in "Published" state ?

There was a fix in backend items manager ordering but that was in v3.0.5
