if is not specific to FLEXIcontent if you visit backend Joomla media manager
Content / "Media"

- then you will see that media manager has the same problem

Also besides the Joomla media manager, it does not work for Joomla article form either,
1. I enable in FLEXIcontent "flexisystem " plugin the access to Joomla article manager for the "Super Users"
2. I disable "JCE editor" plugin so that native media element is used in Joomla article form

the same problem exists in Joomla article form, same wrong paths

in this specific server configuration Joomla media manager / media element does not detect the path correctly

Very strange cause :
1 - We have another Joomla (same version and extensions except Zoo and Flexic) on this server and everything work fine.
2 - We have several Joomlas with same config on several servers with same config and all work fine!
3 - It was working fine after we installed zoo and before i installed Flexicontent ...

So i don't understand how this bug can occur ...
Perhaps an interaction beetween Flexic and other extensions ...

OMG i checked the 2 installations and it seems someone here added a / at end of paths in media manager component.
Everything comed from that ...

it seems to be working now

in global configuration,
turning OFF and saving "SEF urls" and "SEF URL rewriting" options
then turn both ON and saving

seems to have solved the issue
i think the result was due to .htaccess configuration,

maybe after copying the website you needed to update .htaccess file
you have some software that can be effecting .htaccess
