... hide Intro Text

the main com_content has an option "Show Intro Text" which enables you to hide the intro text in the item view. How can I keep intro and content separate with flexicontent?

It's the same in FC: Go to the backend -> Components -> FLEXIcontent -> Items and open the item for edit it. On the right side click on "Parameters: standard" and there you'll find the option "Show introtext Hide/Show"...

thanks for that, exactly what i was looking for, however it looks like there is no global config.
does that mean i have to do this for all 180 items manually?

Again an issue

With the newest flexicontent we have the possibility to hide the intro text
- globaly
- by type
- by item
I'm setting the item to use global, this sets the attrib (no 0 or 1)
switching the type show_inro to 0 and the global show intro to 0 does nothing.
ONLY changing the show intro on the item actually hides the intro now.

this is a bug, I don't need a workaround

sorry but becarefull i am a free moderator ... your reponse is a bit hard .. if a bug existing .. some time a workarround is better or stay patient ...
maybe do you try this
if you have selected an option by item it's normaly the global option doesn't works ... it's a parent / child relation
with my solution you can easly select a group of item whitout change option in each item...

Ok, first time that i try flexcontent, perhaps i overlooked a certain parameter.
I hide introtext in global settings and categories parameter but the text still shows up.
