Not able to select tags for items

I'm not able to add tags to items. This happens for new and existing items. We are currently only using less than 50 tags on the site. How can I resolve this?

to be more clear you can add tagg but not higer than 50 ?

Using FLEXIcontent 3.3.9
PHP 7.4.18

We are only using less than a total of 50 tags on the site. Point I was trying to make is that we don't have a huge amount of tags.

that works for 10 and not for more 50 need more testing

I increased max_input_vars from 1000 to 2000 but still not working for me
running php 7.4.18

Should I be looking at another setting?

I received 403 errors for your core.php and jquerry.min.js files
I made an exception for each in my Anti-Virus software now not getting any errors.
