FC 4.2.1 Beta / Joomla 4.4.0 - advanced search not displaying results

The advanced search functionality appears to be broken in the latest FC beta on Joomla 4.4.0.
The index is in place, live search (aka "search as you type") finds the terms, results are retrieved and counted, but they are not displayed.
In the screenshot below you can see that it found 7 results, but displays none.
As ever, there isn't much debug info.
I can attach the SQL queries, if it helps.
Environment:
FC 4.2.1 beta (or latest beta from Github asof 2023-11-17).
Joomla 4.4.0
PHP 7.4.31
Joomla SEF and Apache mod_rewrite enabled
