URLs from FC Module points to non canonical URLS.

We have an item that placed in primary category (Action) and assigned to secondary categories (Arcade, RPG).

We have FC Module that should display items from primary category (Action).
And it does so.

But item has URL to the secondary category. Not to the primary.

Thus, when we open this item, we open not canonical URL.

That's more than not good.

Module placed on home page.
Mortal Kombat item URL fro this page - bestwinsoft.com/android/games/arcade/mor...ombat-x-for-android|
instead of  bestwinsoft.com/android/games/action-gam...kombat-x-for-android

yes its not a bug its a joomla behavior, urls are construct via item
i think you need to use good item id in universal module in order to have same url (basic > menu item to activate > set good item id)

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

You misunderstood the essence of the problem.
I specified a specific category in the FC module.
The module displayed items from this category, but for items that have secondary categories, it generates links to secondary categories.
This is a bug. It should provide links that only refer to the category selected in the settings.
As a result, if items have secondary categories, the module will always provide links to them, even though the main category is selected in the module settings.

This does not happen on my other website.
Here is an example: directory.audio
There is a New Sound Effects module there.
It contains item "Many different birds sing in the forest"
It have URL - directory.audio/sound-effects/animals/37...s-sing-in-the-forest
And it's correct URL to the primary category.

And when we are in the secondary category, the link for this item contains the main category in the URL. That is, it does not even need a canonical tag.

I think I found the setting for this. But this setting does not work or is not effective.

And one more thing.
Search results uses correct link to the primary category.
And it's ok.
All modules, search results, etc. must use a link to the primary category.
Even if we use a module to display items from a category that contains items for which this category is secondary, the link from these items must be to the primary category.
