onPrepareContent always returning 0 (set to yes in admin) was created by Anonymous

Code:

if($field->parameters->get('trigger_onprepare_content', 0)) {

the text field $field->parameters->get('trigger_onprepare_content', 0)
is always returning 0 (string('0') as opposed to int(0) [which is returned when not set])
i've set the text to trigger all or even specific plugins, but it does not trigger any due to the fact that the value is always returning 0 instead of 1.

I'm lost on what to do next
however this is only the case on one of my the sites.

hello i didn't understand what you want to do ?? 8-)

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
