Hide secondary category

hello regarder du coté level de départ dans vos liens de menu je pense

en fait dans un template on peut mettre le field "Categories" qui liste les catégories au complet d'un contenu j'aimerai cacher certaine catégories dans ce field pour que ça n'apparaisse pas aussi, pas juste dans le fils d'ariane.

Je suis arrivé (il y a un certain temps) à masquer une certaine catégorie mais je ne me souviens plus comment j'ai fait :oops: .
Je viens de passer l'après-midi dans les fichiers et la DB mais rien n'y fait.
Je devrais le refaire. Qui a une idée?

You want to hide the category from the item view for some categories but for all of them?

I succeeded once but I forgot how I made it.

My goal was to hide only one category (the one I use for the homepage). All the other must be seen.

You can see at www.energymag.be/fr

The articles on the homepage are from the category named energymag and you can't see it on the category list.

i looked at the source code ... to hide the category date from the category view so that only its items are displayed, do this:

Edit category and set:
1. In Parameters : standard
-- disable "Show category title"
2. In Parameters : layout common
-- disable "Description"
-- disable "Category Image"

Thanks for your answer but I was maybe not clear.

Here is what I am looking for: in this item, I have 3 categories (Technologie, Renouvelable and Energymag) but I don't want to show the Energymag one who is only for selecting the homepage display.

I had a solution for this website but I don't remember how I did.

Hello,
Go to Plug-ins Manager / System Plugins
and open plugin "FLEXIcontent advanced route", Select to exclude the category from routing.

This will stop the category from
(1) appearing to items category list and
(2) from routing to the category when trying to choose a category for the item.
