Dashboard Module for Frontend?

Hi,

I like the Flexicontent Dashboard module in the upper right that shows the items that are "waiting for approval", "Draft", and "In Process". Is there any way this can be made available as a module on the Frontend? It is now only available to a backend user. The Editor and Publisher Frontend users can't get there.

actualy it only for backend
regards

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I got that, but it does not answer the question.

Why not have that functionality for the front-end. Joomla! and FC are for front-end editing and publishing. But they do not actually do that.

The way the new single item works now, the administrator gets a cryptic e-mail to sign on to receive a message under the tools menu. The e-mail and the message do not say which category a new item has been submitted so that it can be edited from the font-end. On the Dashboard it shows under the draft tab with the item title. A back-end authorized user can then edit it and change its state to "In Process". After the administrator saves the item it will appear under the In Process tab on the Dashboard. And so on...

hello
flexicontent is free !
some times if you want something do it ;) ... or donate for it ...
basicly flexicontent is component for create special content .. not for multi publication and fine administration of publication ...
joomla can't do it... maybe you can find a other component to do it and couple with flexicontent
maybe in futur but it's complexe to create a good scenario for this
if it's request put it in good section of forum and explain more what you need
regards

@RangerWalt

The short version . . . good idea, can't do it right now.
;)

The long version . . .

Sounds like a good idea.
A few other users have requested that more of the back-end work-flow functionality be available in the front-end.
And this makes sense given the FLEXIcontent emphasis on it's improved work-flow advantages.

But (you knew that was coming) much of this is simply not available in the front-end (yet).
And I mean "not available" from a structural standpoint within the code.
The permissions issues prevent simply whipping-up a front-end module.

It is my understanding that some of this may be coming in a new version of FLEXIcontent,
in either the J1.5 version or the J1.6 version.
But I have no specific or hard information on if or when.
