translation field was created by micker

Hello an idea for simplify translation
A radio button translatable yes no
If select yes value field will be editable in tr content
If select non value field is copied on original content and no editable in tr content
What do you think for workflow

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

we have exactly this already

check out edit field properties

Soory i lost this option !! GREAT
ps i try it on image field
but it doen't work ...
i my exemple :
1 i do an french original content (image multi)
2 i translate in uk and adding some image
3 i discover i activade untranslate option for this field ..
it display the uk field image not french version

Currently,

image field in "folder mode",
will not work properly if set to untranslatable ,

because code must be updated toy use the item_id of the original content item ... (item_id is part of the folder path)

After enabling untranslatable field you will need to save once ALL original content items, or once ALL translations

Field is better to be set as untranslatable at the beginning of creating your content.

Or when you have a few content items, since the untranslatable values must be saved to all item's translations to ensure compatibility,

that is why it requires re-saving the original content items or each of the translations
