Hello

the missing category manager filters were meant to be added since v2.0.2 (along with archive/trash management) , so that is why were done now (along with little time needed to do it)

-- about select a category to display its subtree, done too (good idea for filtering)

-- nothing more for now in category manager, (no shift-click selection of categories , also next change for categories in v2.1 or v2.0.4 will be batch operations

Regards

-- Also test
(a) the ACL "create" privilege on Content Type,
(b) publish up/down intervals, when autopublishing via menu item (e.g. now + 24 Hours)

about publish up/down interval i think there is a meaningful way to add them to content Type:

- add auto-publishing parameters to Content Type configuration that will be applied ONLY for user that do not have EDIT.STATE (=publish) privilege

effectively doing same effect as done in menu item auto-publish override

Publish up/down intervals in item submission menu works like a charm!!

Suggestion:

1. Even if item unpublished, Author, Of course, can see the item in item list view(No notification) and item view(notification displayed as Unpublished).. It's good but need a notification in item list view for Author.
e.g [Unpublished] right next to item Title in item list view.
coz Author will not recognize it as unpublished item until they click the item and see notification.

Question:
How can I disable email sent notification after author Submit/Edit?

makes sense, will examine best place todo this (modify title appeding to it or modify PHP code of the category layout of ALL templates)

What do you mean ?
i do not understand why you ask this :
the notifications are configurable to do this , e.g. you can have different behavior for new/existing , and for can-publish/can-not publish

-- Set email notifications in Global Configuration and then override for EVERY content Type if this is needed

publish up/down intervals is only available for New item submit.
Can you add publish up/down intervals params for Edit item submit as well?

Or just add select field param with options, e.g New Item Only, Edit item only, Both.

Hello,

Menu item is
"submit menu item", it is not used while editing

and for editing it is less meaningful to set it ,

since each time the item is edited the user will get a FREE "refresh" of publication expiration time

I have tested with item that has been auto Published Up and Down, but the item's publication expiration time didn't change even if author edit the item. Of course, author has edit own privilege though.

At the moment, if author edit item, "the item will be reviewed by admin" message appears.
