[rel-canonical is used] Flexicontent and double content

Hello,

I use the multicategory function of flexicontent. I saw if an item is registered in two ore more categories, the url of the item view uses the category from that category the item was called.

Can it be, that search machines like Google that evaluate this as double content? Is it not better, the item view to show only by the item`s main category plus a redirect button to the secondary category from that the item was called?

Hello

REL-canonical URL of the item
- always uses the main category of the item

- they are also other cases that you can have 2 different url pointing to same item
e.g. using 2 different menu items maybe used
(this can happen to Joomla article view)

using the same (single) REL-canonical resolves the issue (according to Google Guidelines)
