Textarea field can not be used as individual filter in category view (can be used only in search) was created by tonnick

Do we have any chance to have a filter in "search text" mode based on textarea field on content lists (not advanced) ?

text input ?

yes, in content list, as a category, not in advanced search

but if your text is with 5000 word how to display it in slect dropdown ??

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.

This is why I asked for a filter in "search text" display and not in dropdown

Hello

but you can do this already in field configuration !
you can configure filter of the field to display as an input text

yes but this is not working for content list, only for advanced search. I cannot use this field as filter for a category.

yes what i was talking about is available in the "text" field
not in the "textarea" field

you mean that there is no filter for "textarea" field in category views ?

I have opened a new issue here, for future implementation
