Oh, unfortunately we can not deactivate the css optimization feature it is very helpful for the entire process.

We will test 600 delay and we will update you .. thanks!

we have changed the number of elements to max 1000 and still no go. Any other suggestions?

as i say disable css defering (you didn't lost any speed)
FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

removing unused css helps a lot with the speed. unfortunately we can not do that. we might have to uninstall this 5 year flexi install. :( it's not working out. Or we might delete the filtering feature completely from PHP. thanks!

unused css and defering css isn't same feature you can disable defering css only its not important on page speed
