Je sais que c'est un peu hors sujet, mais ici on a de bons développeur Joomla :-)

J'aimerais moi aussi pouvoir m'initier au développement de composant pour Joomla 1.7 et notamment créer en Frontend des formulaires avec fonction CRUD (create, read, update, delete...)
En utilisant bien sûr les spécificités Joomla 1.6/1.7

Je me demande donc comment s'initier, je ne trouve pas ou peu de tutorial, et meme si il existe une doc des API Joomla 1.7 ça ne suffit pas pour savoir comment s'y prendre.

j'ai deplacer dans le bon forum

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

For content you can use FLEXIcontent item types and make a template override for the form.php file (views/items/tmpl/form.php) so that you can create custom edit/submit forms for the content.

Another solution is form components like ckforms
