Front-end category edit button?

Hello there!

I've noticed there is a front-end edit button for Items which can be output with the following:
"flexicontent_html::editbutton( $item, $item->params );"

I have categories that I want my users to be able to edit as well, however I can't find an editing button for categories. Sorry if there is one and I have missed it, but I've looked through the helpers html.php file and the default category.php files and found nothing there. This may be a feature request if it doesn't exist. If it doesn't, does anyone have a solution for how I could bring up an edit category page?

no this button is only to add item inside category not to edit it
joomla doesn't allow this and flexicontent not too

I think eventually Joomla will support this

But regardless of Joomla

In Flexicontent 3.3.x we have made changes to make this easier to implement
but 3.3.0 will be released without this feature
