onBeforeSaveField() question was created by orchid1
has anybody used on onBeforeSaveField() before and uploaded a file? I am creating a new field but I'm not sure how to access the $_FILE variables so that i can manipulate them. I've looked at the stock Image plug-in field but have not managed to reverse engineer the code and I've spent 5-6 hours already.
Anyone have any experience with this?

As you can see I have created a file field and I know I should use the onBeforeSaveField() but I'm not sure what variable holds the uploaded files information or how to set it up.
can some one show me the proper way to mark up the field? and explain to me how to access the I'd be very appreciative for any help
