@emmanuel

i would find (hopefully many others) an rss syndication of the forum contents to be of immense use to follow on the happenings here, clicking around all websites one needs to monitor in order to keep arbeast various developments wouldn't have been possible if not for rss aggregators

sorry if i posted in the wrong forum, but found only this one to be most suitable for such suggestion

Its already there, perhaps not clear enough or easily linked to.

Just add &format=feed to your category page URL and you'll see an RSS feed.

I think you misunderstood him?

He means at THIS forum, the FLEXIcontent forum. Not in FLEXIcontent :)

Good idea but, as it's the first forum I've built, I've absolutely no idea on how to achieve that.
Any suggestion?

There is a mod for phpbb forums, named Topicsanywhere, you have to install it, and then you get a code to add on your homepage, dislaying the last commented or created posts

I used that for many years, when I wzs still running a phpbb forum, it's easy to implement and to maintain

In the meantime, there is a usefull option on the left of the board, which allows to see the last modified messages, not a rss feed, but pretty useful
